VECINTI Marketplace & Agent Platform

A production local-services marketplace combining a timezone-aware booking engine, geospatial discovery, agentic AI, and Stripe Connect infrastructure.

Overview

At VECINTI, I architected and shipped a production marketplace for booking local services. The platform brings scheduling, resource allocation, location-aware discovery, payments, and AI-assisted operations into one system built with Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

Booking and discovery

The booking engine supports six service types while accounting for time zones, concurrent cart holds, and staff or resource availability. PostGIS powers geospatial search, and a six-signal ranking system turns location and quality signals into useful results.

Agentic operations

I built an AI system on Amazon Bedrock with 35 tools. Permissions are scoped, and state-changing actions require human approval. Calendar, email, SMS, 13 scheduled jobs, and 13 signed webhooks connect the agent to real operational workflows.

Payments infrastructure

Stripe Connect supports provider payouts, subscriptions, identity verification, refunds, disputes, and event-driven processing across more than 21 webhook event types.

Engineering focus

This work required careful coordination across time, money, location, and automation, where small inconsistencies quickly become user-facing failures. The architecture emphasizes explicit state transitions, secure integration boundaries, and reliable background processing.
